महानगरपालिकेच्या निवडणुकीमुळे राज्यातील वातावरण ढवळून निघालं आहे. मुंबई महापालिकेच्या निवडणुकीकडे सर्वांचे लक्ष लागले असून महायुती आणि ठाकरे बंधू दोघांनीही विजयाचा निश्चय केला आहे. मुंबई जिंकण्यासाठी महायुतीकडून मोठ्या सभांचे आयोजन सुरू आहे. मुंबईत महायुतीची पहिली संयुक्त सभा पार पडली ज्यात मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस आणि एकनाथ शिंदे उपस्थित होते. या सभेत फडणवीसांनी महापौरपदाबाबतचा संस्पेन्स संपवला आणि स्पष्ट केलं की मुंबईचा महापौर महायुतीचा, हिंदू आणि मराठीच होणार. यावेळी फडणवीसांनी ठाकरेंवर जोरदार हल्लाबोल केला तर शिंदेंनीही ठाकरेंवर निशाणा साधत "बकासुराच्या हातून मुंबईला बाहेर काढायचंय" असं म्हटलं.
