मुंबई महापालिकेच्या निवडणुकीत महायुतीची पहिली संयुक्त सभा पार पडली. या सभेत फडणवीसांनी ठामपणे सांगितलं की मुंबईचा महापौर महायुतीचा, हिंदू आणि मराठीच होणार. दरम्यान, फडणवीसांनी "रक्ताने फक्त नातं येतं, वारसा येत नाही; खरा वारसा शिंदेंकडे आहे" असा जोरदार दावा केला. तर एकनाथ शिंदेंनी "बाळासाहेब ठाकरे हाच एक ब्रँड आहे" असं सांगत ठाकरेंवर हल्लाबोल केला.
