Stampede at Venkateswara Swamy temple in Andhra Pradesh | मंदिरात आलेल्या भाविकांवर काळाचा घाला
A huge crowd of devotees had gathered at Venkateswara Swamy temple in Kasibugga area of Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam district on Saturday morning when a sudden stampede created panic in the premises. Nine people died, and several others were injured. The stampede occurred as a large crowd gathered at the temple on the occasion of Ekadashi, Andhra Chief Minister's Office said in a statement. Overcrowding because of the heavy rush led to the tragic incident.
