Due to the soaking rain, the cotton quality has deteriorated, turning black and leading to an anticipated sharp drop in market price. शेतकरी हवालदिल! वर्धा आणि विदर्भातील इतर जिल्ह्यांमध्ये झालेल्या अवकाळी पावसाने वेचणीला आलेल्या कपाशीचे मोठे नुकसान झाले आहे. शेतकऱ्यांनी केलेल्या प्रचंड खर्चानंतर ऐन वेळेवर आलेल्या पावसामुळे वेचलेला तसेच झाडांवरील कापूस भिजला असून, तो मातीमोल झाला आहे. त्यामुळे हातातोंडाशी आलेला घास हिरावला गेल्याने शेतकरी वर्ग हवालदिल झाला आहे. शासनाने त्वरित पंचनामे करून तातडीची मदत जाहीर करण्याची मागणी शेतकरी करत आहेत.
