Maharashtra has become the first Indian state to partner with Elon Musk’s Starlink for satellite-based internet. A Letter of Intent (LoI) has been signed to bring high-speed connectivity to remote and underserved regions, including tribal schools and health centres, under the Digital Maharashtra Mission. This landmark deal aims to bridge the digital divide and strengthen public infrastructure in aspirational districts like Gadchiroli and Nandurbar.
