"कर्ज काढायचं, कर्जबाजारी व्हायचं आणि पुन्हा कर्जमाफी मागायची," असे त्यांनी म्हटले. मात्र, लगेच सारवासारव करत महायुती सरकार शेतकऱ्यांची १०० टक्के कर्जमाफी करणार असल्याचे त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.
