The deceased, identified as Parmeshwar Bhimrao Khawal, was on a pilgrimage when the incident occurred. Rescue teams rushed him to a local hospital but he succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family and city in shock. केदारनाथ यात्रेसाठी गेलेल्या छत्रपती संभाजीनगरच्या बजाजनगर येथील ३८ वर्षीय भाविकाचा दरड कोसळून दुर्दैवी मृत्यू झाला. परमेश्वर भीमराव खवल असे मृताचे नाव आहे. गौरीकुंड येथून पायी जात असताना ही घटना घडली. बचाव पथकाने त्यांना तात्काळ बाहेर काढले, परंतु उपचारापूर्वीच त्यांचा मृत्यू झाला होता.
